Role

A medical practice in Winton is seeking a general practitioner for a long-term position starting on September 16th and ending on December 20th, 2024.

The role involves joining a harmonious team in the charming town of Winton. There is an optional PRIME and negotiable on-call duties based out of Invercargill, which operates from a clinic after hours.

The practice offers competitive remuneration, as well as assistance with relocation, vehicle provision, newly renovated accommodation, and coverage of medical membership and certification expenses.

Practice

The Winton practice is recognized as the cornerstone for training in the region, boasting long-established GPEP1/2/3 and medical student placements. With two GP teachers and the region’s lead medical educator on the team, a wide variety of patient presentations are ensured, not limited to complex cases. Additionally, rostered administrative time and regular peer reviews are given high priority.

Winton offers the tranquility of being removed from the hustle of a large city, yet it’s conveniently located less than 30 minutes from Invercargill City and its airport.
