1.1 At Hauora Taiwhenua Rural Health Network (HTRHN), we take our privacy obligations very seriously. We respect the privacy of our members and the users of our website https://htrhn.org.nz. 4.1 We may collect personal information (including, but not limited to your name, email address, phone number, and postal address) from you. We may do this when you:

4.1.1 communicate with us or our representatives;

4.1.2 submit to us a membership application form, or any other form or order related to the services or goods provided by us;

4.1.3 use this website, including, but not limited to, when you use this website to update personal information we hold about you.

4.2 You may choose not to provide your personal information to us. However, if you do not provide such information, we may not be able to provide you with access to certain information, goods or services.

5.1 We store your information in physical or electronic form ourselves, and we contract with third parties to store some information for us in New Zealand and overseas (including via cloud storage provided by third parties). or the Privacy Act 1993. We may use your personal information to:

6.1.1 grant you membership to HTRHN
6.1.2 communicate with you, including providing you with membership related communications and information
6.1.3 facilitate your attendance at any training or event
6.1.4 contact you regarding surveys and other advocacy requirements
6.1.5 provide you with services and information on goods and services including, but not limited to, information relating to sponsorship and events
6.1.6 provide you with information other than membership communications, including, but not limited to, providing you with promotional materials and news where you agree to receive such information
6.1.7 improve or update our information, goods or services or to develop new information, goods and services
6.1.8 operate this website and to provide functionality of this website
6.1.9 improve or update this website and our information and services;
6.1.10 analyse usage of this website; and
6.1.11 generate and publish aggregate or statistical information that does not identify you.

8 Right to access and correct

8.1 If you are an individual, you have certain rights under the Privacy Act 1993. You may request access to, or correction of, any personal information we hold about you by contacting HTRHN using the contact details shown on the website. We will correct any personal information we may hold about you if you notify us in writing of the correction.

9 Automated collection of non-personal information

9.1 HTRHN may use a “cookie” file containing information that can identify details of your IP address, PC platform (e.g. Windows, NT or Mac), browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox or other, plus the version of browser), domain (whether you are accessing the website from New Zealand or elsewhere) and other user information (e.g. your username).

9.2 HTRHN may use the information generated by cookies to:

9.2.1 track traffic patterns to, from and on the website including the date, time and duration of your visit; and the pages viewed by you
9.2.2 help display advertising to the appropriate users;
9.2.3 and enable you to enter the website and use certain services and to visit registered user only areas of the website.
