Role The Paeroa-based medical practice is seeking a general practitioner (GP) or nurse practitioner (NP) to assist them. The role has no fixed end date, allowing flexibility in its duration and possible extended to be a long-term role. Sessions can be tailored to the candidate’s availability, and there is no on-call or PRIME work required. Furthermore, the practice offers accommodation, vehicle support, and relocation assistance.
Location Paeroa has a great geographic advantage in that it is central to so many other fabulous towns and cities in the North Island. There are three major cities within an hour and a half’s travel, stunning beaches, bush, mountains and rivers as well as being in close reach to the Coromandel Peninsula. The climate is mild and most activities can be enjoyed year round. The Karangahake Gorge Historic Walkway is a popular hike that passes several important historical features and the Hauraki Rail Trail is centred in Paeroa, providing safe cycle tracks to surrounding towns through farmland and bush.
