We are seeking a General or Nurse Practitioner to join our practice and continue providing excellent care to our community, working alongside our team of 4 GPs, 5 nurses, admin team and a practice manager.

Our modern premises offer a work environment in a great community. Oamaru might just be the lifestyle change you are looking for.

Location

The stunning coastal town has access to skiing and snowboarding in the winter months, surfing and great mountain biking, it’s all famous for its superb limestone buildings, wildlife, and beautiful coastal walks. There are also lovely white sandy beaches close by. The town has plenty to offer such as Art Galleries, Museum’s and great coffee shops to name but a few attractions.

There are also considerable outdoor activities in the area, including fishing in the Waitaki River or the nearby Waitaki Valley Lakes, jet boating and sailing are also available. In the winter season skiing is within easy reach.

There is a good range of schooling available with New Zealand’s oldest university less then a 90 minute drive away.  The town also has business services, library, public gardens, hospital and professional and community services and lots of clubs to cater for all interests.
