Role This practice has 3 permanent role available for a NP or GP (family physician) to work 4/5 days a week with some on-call. If you are someone who is conscientious with a sense of humour and has the ability to relate to a diverse range of staff and patients then this could be the perfect role for you! Practice We are looking for a friendly and down to earth doctor that would mesh well with our current team. Communication with our patients is important and key attribute for this role. We are currently undertaking the planning stage to formulate an exciting new innovative health care approach. This will mean with the new build our patients and staff will have access on site to a gym/ physiotherapist /health coach/ personal trainer/ dietician and social worker. This is a village style health care and a lot of these services will be free to our patients, our aim is to enhance patient care on multiple levels leading to better health outcomes.
Location The stunning coastal town is famous for its superb limestone buildings, wildlife, and beautiful coastal walks. There are also lovely white sandy beaches close by. The town has plenty to offer such as art galleries, museums and great coffee shops to name but a few attractions. There are also considerable outdoor activities in the area, including fishing in the Waitaki River or the nearby Waitaki Valley Lakes, jet boating and sailing are also available. In the winter season skiing is within easy reach. There is a good range of schooling available with one of NZ’s best universities a few hours drive away. The town also has business services, library, public gardens, hospital and professional and community services and lots of clubs to cater for all interests.
