Role A practice located in Leeston, a charming town, is looking for a general practitioner (GP) to assist them for the month of July 2024, with the potential of assisting long-term. For this role the sessions per week are flexible with a proposed session rate of $600.00 – $675.00. The role does not include any on-call or PRIME work involved.
Location Leeston is a town on the Canterbury Plains in the South Island of New Zealand. It is located 40 kilometres southwest of Christchurch, between the shore of Lake Ellesmere and the mouth of the Rakaia River. The town supports the local farming industry, but has all the necessities of many bigger townships such as a supermarket, schools, churches, hospital (for elderly care only) and a small swimming pool. Leeston is close to some of New Zealand’s best tourist destinations including Christchurch city, Hanmer Springs and Akaroa and is half a days drive from Queenstown and Wanaka.
