Role We are seeking a General Practitioner to take up a permanent position in a friendly practice located on the beautiful Kapiti Coast. The role has 8 sessions (4 days) per week.
Practice This is an independent medical centre in the heart of the town centre. Our small friendly medical practice provides a range of services from a caring and experienced team. This is a modern practice, cornerstone accredited, 3 consultation rooms, a minor surgery room and also has an ultrasound on site. The practice has approximately 4500 registered patients, mainly elderly but new families are now coming to the area.
Location The sunny Kapiti Coast, just one hour north of New Zealand’s capital city, Wellington, this is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the best of both worlds. With the Tararua Mountains to the west and Kapiti Island to the east, the setting is picturesque and also offers a range of outdoor activities and adventures. The town has a population of around 10,000 people, who are very proud of their town and work together to keep it well cared for. Artists, craftspeople, schools, conservation groups, gardeners, businesses and other community groups do their bit in a concerted effort to keep the town looking beautiful. The local nature reserve provides a unique opportunity to learn about the natural history of New Zealand. Nearby you can explore swimming holes, walkways and popular white baiting spots.
