Role

We are seeking a permanent General Practitioner (Family Medicine physician) who is bright, cheerful and efficient. You would be working 6-8 sessions per week with only one afterhours shift per month.

Practice

The practice has 10 GPs who are supported by well-managed nursing team of 7, an in-house clinical pharmacist, as well as a Health Improvement Practitioner, Health Coach and Community Support worker. A full range of General Practice needs are provided including – maternity care, aclasta infusions, minor surgery and immigration medicals as well as skin checks and orthopaedics.

The practice is open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Outside these hours phones are diverted to Dunedin Urgent Doctors and Accident Centre – between 6.00 pm and 10:00 pm weekdays, and 8.00am and 10:00pm weekends and public holidays.
