Role A practice located in Westport is looking for a general practitioner (GP) to fill a short-term role. This placement is available now and will conclude on the 25th of November 2025. Sessions are negotiable with the practice, which offers a sessional rate of $600.00. Additionally, there is no requirement for any on-call, PRIME, or hospital work. The practice also offers accommodation, a vehicle, and relocation assistance if required.
Location Westport is a small town in the Buller district surrounded by beautiful tree clad mountains and situated next to the sea. In the last 10 years mining, tourism and agriculture have expanded and the area has experienced a renaissance. Subsequently younger families have moved into the area and the demographics have become more vibrant.
