Role Make a real difference in a close-knit rural community. We are seeking a permanent or long-term General Practitioner (Family Medicine Physicians) to join our friendly team of GPs. Ideally with a view to a share in the business. Your skills and contribution will be valued in Northland; General Practitioners and their families are welcomed into the community. The role is full time, working 4 to 5 days per week, with a Saturday clinic from 9am – 1pm, shared amongst GPs. The ideal candidate would be easy going and friendly, with an ability to build a rapport with patients. We are a busy rural practice with diverse clinical cases, you will need to be comfortable with attending emergency on-call (during the day only) and be up to date with your Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). An excellent remuneration package is provided.
Practice External services are provided to local rest homes and outreach clinics. As a teaching practice we regularly have registrars and trainee interns from the University of Auckland.
