Role We are looking for a permanent General Practitioner (Family Medicine physician) working 3 days per week. The ideal candidate is someone who wants to be part of our community practice, be able to make a difference in whanau lives, able to multi task, able to work under pressure, and be an amazing team player.
Practice Our practice is situated about 35 kms south of the Auckland Central Business District. This is a growing community where town meets country. It is flanked by the southern reaches of the Manukau Harbour to the West and farmland to the east with rich and fertile soil. The Practice has 8 consult rooms, a nurse station with 3 beds, private nurse room, phone nurse room, cabin on the premises for respiratory patients, and vaccination clinic. This practice is Cornerstone Accredited. There are approximately just under 8000 registered patients with- European 85%, Maori 7%, Asian 4%, Pacific Island 1% and other 2%.
