We have an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic GP to join a practice in the beautiful Bay of Plenty. As an experienced General Practitioner, ideally you will be vocationally registered or working toward this. You will be working with a team of skilled nurses, GP colleagues and an experienced administration team, supported by a dedicated Practice Manager.

The medical centre is a well-established practice in a centrally located purpose-built clinic, with modern and attractive facilities. There are seven general practitioners and a dedicated team of practice nurses, supported by a range of visiting specialists. Located next door to the practice are a range of other medical services, including radiology, audiology, counselling, laboratory, and a pharmacy, providing easy access to a range of investigations and treatments. The practice provides quality individual and family health care, with a focus on the importance of a strong relationship between patient and healthcare provider.

The practice is located in Whakatane, one of New Zealand’s most stunning coastlines. There are great restaurants and cafes, and a thriving arts and culture scene. The whole family will enjoy life in this gorgeous spot – a wonderful place for kids to grow up! The opportunities for an outdoors lifestyle and adventure sports are endless, with kayaking, surfing, hiking, golf, fishing and mountain biking on offer. Ski fields and national parks are an easy drive away, offering brilliant weekend getaway options (if you ever get tired of the beach!).
