Role A Wellington-based medical practice is offering a long-term role for a General Practitioner (GP). The position commences on April 22, 2024, and concludes on April 18, 2025. Notably, this role does not involve any hospital, PRIME, or on-call duties. Rates and benefits are open to negotiation.
Location Wellington is New Zealand’s capital city; and with excellent cafes, restaurants, wine and craft beer, and a range of events, it is also known as New Zealand’s ‘Capital of Culture’. The city is home to many museums, theatres and arts festivals, including Te Papa Tongarewa (the Museum of New Zealand), the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, the Royal New Zealand Ballet, and the biennial Festival of the Arts. Wellington is New Zealand’s centre of government, and third most populous urban area. It is also a leading centre for creative industries, such as film and computer technology. Wellington is the centre of the film-making industry in New Zealand where movies such as Lord of the Rings trilogy, King Kong and Avatar were filmed.
