Role A practice located in Waihi is seeking a General Practitioner (GP) for a short‑term role available from 6 July to 17 August 2027. In this role, you will be working 8 sessions per week, with no requirements for any on‑call work. The practice is also able to assist with accommodation, a vehicle, and relocation costs.
Location Waihi Beach is located in the Coromandel district, which was one of the great gold mining districts of the world. You can now visit the Gold Discovery Centre for an experience of 100 years of goldmining history. This area is renowned for its native forests, the breath-taking Karangahake Gorge and a 9 kilometre stretch of white sand beaches. The many beautiful walks and cycle tracks are popular with the beachside community. Waihi Beach is nestled between two great holiday destinations – the Coromandel, with its pristine beaches and misty forests and Tauranga, with its hot summer harbourside views.
