Role A practice located in Rawene is looking for a General Practitioner (GP), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Rural Hospital Doctor (RHD) for a short-term or long-term role available immediately. In this role, you will be working 10 sessions per week, with no requirement for on-call work. Additionally, the practice can assist with accommodation, a vehicle, and relocation costs if needed.
Practice Hauora Hokianga (Hokianga Health) has for many years been widely recognised as one of the most accessible and integrated health services in New Zealand. Through the Hokianga Health Enterprise Trust, Hauora Hokianga provides integrated primary health care services (medical, pharmaceutical and some oral health services) to the people of Hokianga at no cost to the patient. The practice has approximately 6,500 patients, with each General Practitioner seeing on average 20 patients a day. The Trust currently employs a CEO, seven FTE General Practitioners, a full complement of registered nurses, hospital aides and domestic staff to staff the hospital services, two practice nurses, and eight community-based nurses.
