Ōamaru

Role

We are a long established group practice located in Central Oamaru with a team of five professional, competent doctors that includes both young and more senior clinicians. We are a teaching practice and the only Oamaru practice that has taken RNZCGP employed 1st year GP Registrars, training doctors for their Fellowship and are therefore experienced in nurturing doctors to their full potential. We are looking for an additional friendly and team focused doctor or GP registrar to join us on a permanent basis.

For this role, you will be working 7-8 sessions per week with no requirement for on-call, PRIME, or hospital work and you will generally see 10 to 12 patients per session.
You will enjoy a warm, collegial environment working with other doctors with their Fellowship which allows for readily available advice and support. Our Doctors work alongside a team of professional practice nurses and administrative staff who all contribute to the positive ambience of the practice.
