Role A New Plymouth–based practice is seeking a General Practitioner (GP) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a role available from 1 July. This position offers short-term to long-term flexibility, with the long-term placement concluding on 31 December 2026. In this role, you will be working 8 to 10 sessions per week, with no on-call requirements. Additionally, the practice is able to provide accommodation, a vehicle, and relocation costs if needed.
Practice The health care centre has approximately 1600 registered patients, and is growing. Therefore they are seeking an experienced practitioner to join one other long standing GP at the practice. The clinic is a satellite of a larger (13 GP) practice based in New Plymouth, therefore further collegial support comes the larger practice. There is a focus on clear communication, honesty and transparency. The practice management team aim to maintain a low stress environment where staff feel valued and have high morale. Professional development is encouraged and supported.
