A permanent General Practitioner (Family Medicine physician) role has become available for 9 sessions (4.5 days) per week with no on-call.

The practice is looking for a conscientious GP with a sense of humour and ability to relate to a diverse range of staff and patients. A New Zealand Registered GP with previous experience working in a NZ General Practice is preferred. If you are able to demonstrate commitment to quality and best practice outcomes then this role would suit you.

This practice is rural based with six GPs operating from a modern, recently refurbished facility. Support staff include nine nurses and eight reception/administration staff who provide services to our enrolled patients.

Morrinsville is a provincial town in the Waikato region of New Zealand’s North Island, with a population of approximately 7,000. Morrinsville offers a variety of things to do. Enjoy walks along the river banks or take a relaxed stroll through the recreation grounds, stop for a swim or a picnic at one of the walking tracks or cycle trails close by.  Further afar from this rural town you are only a short drive away to Rotorua, lakes and thermal pool, the Waitomo glow-worm caves, the unique Coromandel Peninsular or Hamilton City.
