Role A short-term role as become available from the 14th of August to the 1st of September 2023 in this hard-working practice. The sessions are completely flexible and there is no required on-call.
Location Katikati is a gorgeous town with a population of around 4,600 and is a 30 minute drive north of Tauranga in the stunning Bay of Plenty. With some of the best scenery New Zealand has on offer, a temperate coastal climate, bush, sea/surfing/beaches and rivers close by, many people from around the country, and the world, consider Katikati THE place to live, work and play. In fact most of our doctors have come with their families from overseas and have stayed here permanently. Local schools are highly regarded and range from pre-schools through to secondary schools. A private primary school and college are located within driving distance. There are a variety of services available in the centre of town, including two supermarkets, gift shops, clothing shops, butchers, cafes, library etc. This is a growing community with great schools, art galleries, beaches and hiking trails nearby and a variety of sporting, cultural, craft and art groups. Ski fields are a three hour drive away. Tauranga is our closest city and is only 30 minutes away with several other major cities within 90 minutes. For more information click here.
