Role

They have a number of vacancies and are flexible about talking to a variety of candidates. We are vocationally focused and looking for applicants who might “fit” on the Fellowship Pathway.

They have six GP fellows on-site, no Nurse Practitioners (and are opening to changing this status) but we do have a Pharmacist, and also a Nurse Prescriber. We are also one of a few Health NZ (Te Whatu Ora) contracted Transgender clinics in the North Island.

Location

Nestled on the eastern coast of New Zealand’s North Island, Hawke’s Bay is a region renowned for its sunny climate, fertile plains, and a captivating blend of natural beauty and cultural richness. It’s celebrated as one of New Zealand’s premier wine regions, particularly for its exceptional red blends and Chardonnays, with picturesque vineyards dotting the landscape. Beyond viticulture, Hawke’s Bay boasts a significant concentration of Art Deco architecture, especially in the city of Napier. The region’s landscape ranges from rolling hills and productive orchards – earning it the nickname “the fruit bowl of New Zealand” – to stunning coastlines, including the dramatic Cape Kidnappers, home to a large gannet colony. With a strong Māori heritage and a growing reputation for gourmet food and vibrant arts, Hawke’s Bay offers a diverse array of experiences, from exploring its cycle trails and scenic reserves to immersing oneself in its unique history and welcoming culture.
