Your skills and contribution will be valued in Northland; General Practitioners and their families are welcomed into the community.
Practice The Practice has 12,500 patients and provides 24-hour medical care for the area. External services are provided to two local rest homes and regular clinics are also held at local marae, or meeting houses. Surgery hours are 7.30am – 5.30pm (patients are seen from 8am onwards). The practice holds a Primary Response in Medical Emergency (PRIME) contract and the position is best suited to someone with experience in emergency medicine, and up to date with ACLS. The ideal applicant is an enthusiastic medical practitioner, who enjoys working with a variety of clinical presentations, in a fairly busy rural general practice environment.
