Role We are seeking a friendly permanent General Practitioner (Family Medicine physician) to join a family healthcare centre in the beautiful Wairarapa region. The role is 6 to 8 sessions per week (flexible), with a shared on-call roster of 1:20. The successful applicant will be flexible, friendly and adaptable. A competitive salary is offered with the possibility of other assistance negotiable.
Practice This is an innovative and proactive practice which places a strong focus on work life balance. They have a fantastic team, with a very collegial and supportive atmosphere. GPs all work a maximum of four days per week and the practice maintains a relaxed and friendly environment. You will be working alongside four other general practitioners, highly competent nurses and administrative staff. The clinic is leading integration work with multidisciplinary teams in the region, and has well-established links to secondary care. GPs here enjoy clinically rewarding work including high complexity patients with multiple conditions, long term conditions and minor surgery.
