Role A practice in Balclutha is looking for a general practitioner (GP) to fill a short-term role beginning in early September. The placement begins on the 1st of September and concludes on the 31st of October 2024. For this role they’re looking to have 8 – 10 sessions per week covered at a sessional rate of $650.00, there is also no on-call work involved. Additionally the practice is able to offer accommodation, vehicle and relocation assistance if required.
Location Balclutha is situated on the banks of the Clutha River, with Dunedin (the closest city) only an hour’s drive to the North. Balclutha is the gateway to the picturesque Catlins area and the Southern Scenic Route featuring spectacular coastal scenery and wildlife, with numerous outdoor recreational opportunities on offer. Expect rocky headlands, waterfalls and lakes, to yellow-eyed penguins, seals and dolphins.
