A practice located in Alexandra is looking for a general practitioner (GP) or nurse practitioner (NP) to fill a short-term role, available from the 22nd of December 2025 and concluding on the 1st of February 2026.

For this role, the sessions per week are flexible, with some requirements to work weekends and cover the public holiday. There is no requirement for any on-call, PRIME, or hospital work.

Additionally, the practice can assist with accommodation requirements if needed.

Alexandra is a thriving service centre, with a population of over 5,000, catering to the needs of a prosperous orchard and sheep farming district. There are two local pre-schools, three local primary schools and one local high school in the area.  Alexandra has a growing population, with a younger demographic developing who enjoy the recreational lifestyle of the region.
