Role We are seeking a permanent GP to join this small, friendly clinic in the west of New Plymouth. The ideal start date is as soon as possible, and the position is 3-4 days per week; meaning you will have plenty of spare time to enjoy the range of outdoor activities on offer in Taranaki!
Practice The health care centre has approximately 1600 registered patients, and is growing. Therefore they are seeking an experienced practitioner to join one other long standing GP at the practice. The clinic is a satellite of a larger (13 GP) practice based in New Plymouth, therefore further collegial support comes the larger practice. There is a focus on clear communication, honesty and transparency. The practice management team aim to maintain a low stress environment where staff feel valued and have high morale. Professional development is encouraged and supported.
Location New Plymouth is located in the region of Taranaki, which is on the west coast of the North Island. It has an estimated population of 74,000 and is a mix of diverse cultures and contemporary styles.
