Role Join a supportive team of doctors, nurses and support staff offering high quality, friendly and professional healthcare service. This group practice is looking for a GP for 8 sessions a week. You will see a variety of age groups from newborn babies to elderly patients living in residential care facilities. The practice is open from 8:30am, Monday to Friday with patients seen on 15 minute appointments. Occasional on-call is shared between all the town’s practices, requiring approximately one weekend day every 6 weeks. Should a new GP wish to pursue an area of sub-specialisation the practice is happy to support this.
Practice The practice pride themselves on their collaborative team culture, their ability to communicate well and always look out for one another. The nurses and admin team have significant experience and are able to provide a lot of support and guidance to new physicians joining the practice. Everyone is committed to creating a progressive and sustainable practice and the team are in the process of developing a model of care that is more proactive for their patients to provide them with a more positive experience. With the practice relocating to their new purpose designed facility at the beginning of May, this is a fantastic time to join the team.
