Connect, Collaborate and Shape the Future of Rural Hospital Services
8 October 2026 | 9.00am to 4.30pm Rydges Wellington Airport, Wellington
The Rural Hospital Chapter Committee of Hauora Taiwhenua is delighted to invite rural hospital leaders and staff from across Aotearoa to the Rural Hospital Summit 2026.
This annual summit provides a valuable opportunity to come together, share experiences, discuss common challenges, and explore practical solutions for strengthening rural hospital services. The day will bring together clinical and managerial leaders from rural hospitals across New Zealand for open discussion, shared learning, and collective problem-solving.
Whether you work in a clinical, operational, leadership, or management role, your insights and experiences are important. We encourage every rural hospital to be represented and to contribute to discussions that will help shape the future of rural healthcare in Aotearoa.
The summit will run from 9.00am to 4.30pm, and attendees are expected to participate for the full day.
To ensure broad representation across the rural hospital network, we recommend that each hospital send a small delegation of 2-3 participants, ideally reflecting a mix of clinical and non-clinical perspectives.
Registration is $140.00 per person (GST included). This fee helps cover venue and catering costs. An invoice will be sent to the designated contact person for the total number of attendees registered by their organisation.
Places are limited, and early registration is encouraged.
