Role A practice located in Oxford is seeking a General Practitioner (GP) for a short-term role available now through to 31 July 2026. In this role, you will be working 5 sessions per week, with on-call requirements shared on a five-person rotation. The practice is able to assist with relocation costs if required.
Location Oxford is a small farming town located in North Canterbury, only 50 minutes from the major South Island city of Christchurch, and is largely a service centre for the rural Waimakiriri District. It is one of four major towns in North Canterbury, which have a combined population of around 47,000. The town offers a range of shops and services, including pre-school, primary, and secondary schools. All the services expected of a major city and tourist destination are available in Christchurch, including university and polytechnic facilities.
