Role A respected practice in Tokoroa is currently seeking a General Practitioner (GP) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a long-term placement, commencing 2 March 2026 and concluding 3 October 2026. The position involves 8 sessions per week, with no on-call or hospital responsibilities. Support with accommodation can be provided if required.
Location Tokoroa has a population of approximately 14 000 (Another surgery services the balance of patients.). A full spectrum of schooling facilities caters for kindergarten right through to community-based tertiary education. Surrounding the town are many dairy farms, plantation forests and scenic reserves. Lake ‘Moana-Nui’ is a lunch time stroll from the practice. There are about forty five lakes within a forty-five-minute drive of this town! Its central location means that it is an hour’s drive to Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua or Taupo.
