Role We are looking for a permanent General Practitioner (Family Medicine) to join our lovely practice located a few minutes away from Wellington City. The position is for 6 to 8 sessions (3 to 4 days) per week (Mon-Thurs) with some on-call requirements. The practice will provide a relocation assistance of up to $5,000 and will cover costs associated with obtaining the Annual Practising Certificate and Medical Protection fees.
Practice Our medical centre has a register of over 10,000 patients in two locations, Hutt Central and Wainuiomata. There are 9 GPs, one Registrar and a locum doctor in this practice. The practice has a commitment as a teaching practice for medical and nursing students, post graduate trainees and registrars as well as providing continuing medical education for our own staff. Our local hospital is Hutt Hospital, managed by Wairarapa and Hutt Valley District Health Boards.
