Role The practice is seeking a General Practitioner (Family Medicine physician) who is a team player, self-motivated and approachable. They are looking to fill a .6 FTE role starting from as soon as possible.
Practice The practice is situated in an attractive colonial cottage close to the town centre with plenty of parking. The medical centre has 3 consulting rooms, 3 treatment rooms, large reception, waiting room and 2 administration rooms. Patients have enjoyed continuity of care with the founding partners practising for many decades. The surgery is well equipped, and Foundation accredited by the Royal College of General Practitioners. The practice works as a team and realises the importance each member plays in ensuring the best possible health care delivery to their patients. The practice uses MedTech Evolution.
Location Located just a 30-minute drive north of Christchurch, Rangiora is a vibrant and rapidly growing destination known for its boutique shopping, events and abundance of cafes and restaurants. The main industries in the area are lamb production, dairying, fruit growing and mixed farming. Southern hemisphere truffles are a new specialty crop. The town has several interesting museums and some wonderful heritage buildings, including one of Canterbury’s oldest wooden churches.
