Role We are working with a practice who is looking for a General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner. We are keen to hear from applicants interested in working 32 hours per week. Ideally the practice is looking for a GP who holds vocational scope of practice with the MCNZ or is working towards this. They would also consider an experienced NP. However, they are open to considering all suitably qualified applicants.
Practice The medical centre offers the full range of general practice services including minor surgery, travel consults and IUCD insertion/removal. The practice is a group practice with 4 GPs, 5 nurses and an amazing supportive administration team. The practice supports and encourages upskilling of all staff. The practice supports a range of patients from different cultural backgrounds with approximately 27% deemed high needs. The practice is part of a larger organisation that has become one of New Zealand’s leading health care providers. The Patient Management Ssystem is Medtech Evolution.
