We have an outstanding opportunity with a group practice located in Auckland working 32 hours per week. We are keen to hear from General Practitioners who have great communication skills and sound clinical and service skills to provide quality healthcare to a wide range of people in the community. Ideally the practice is looking for a GP who holds at least general scope of practice with the MCNZ and be legally eligible to work in New Zealand.

The practice is family friendly, welcoming environment that provides general practice  services as well as urgent care. A dedicated team of GPs & practice nurses are there to provide support around women’s and men’s health, child and youth health, and long-term conditions (including diabetes, asthma, cardiovascular disease). They have a great team of GPs who provide patients with quality, patient-centered health care. The practice is cornerstone accredited through the RNZCGP. Pharmacy, X-ray, and physio are also available onsite. The practice uses Medtech Evolution.

Auckland is New Zealand’s largest city, there are almost 400,000 people living within the city’s boundary and 1.18 million in the greater Auckland area – that’s about a third of the entire country’s population. The city’s population is expected to grow by about 50% over the next 50 years.

The city has a huge range of activities and attractions to offer visitors. You can dine at more than 800 restaurants, catch awesome views from atop the tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere or from one of the city’s volcanic vantage points, or take in the theatre at the world-class Aotea Centre. There’s the Auckland Museum, National Maritime Museum, the historic Auckland Art Gallery, Kelly Tarlton’s Underwater World, the Zoo – the list goes on.
