An Alexandra-based practice is looking for a general practitioner (GP) to fill a long-term to permanent role, which is available now and concludes on the 17th of October 2025.

For this role, you will be working 2-4 sessions per week, one to two days per week. There is no requirement for on-call, hospital, or PRIME work.

Alexandra is a thriving service centre, with a population of over 5,000, catering to the needs of a prosperous orchard and sheep farming district. There are two local pre-schools, three local primary schools and one local high school in the area.  Alexandra has a growing population, with a younger demographic developing who enjoy the recreational lifestyle of the region. It is an affordable area to live and invest in property. The spectacular scenery of the riverside location and the proximity to the lakes and ski fields of the Southern Alps make Alexandra the ideal place to call home.
