Role This practice has a short-term or long-term role available for a GP (family physician) or NP to join their team in the riverside town of Tuakau between the dates 9th of October to 31st December 2023. They are looking for 8 sessions a week to be covered, however there is that potential for flexibility. The practice uses Medtech Evolution with no PRIME or on-call work involved. Practice Boasting a 20-year legacy in the heart of Tuakau, this practice is synonymous with unparalleled patient care standards. They stand proud as a Cornerstone accredited entity, working tirelessly to deliver innovative primary health solutions to one of New Zealand’s most culturally diverse populations. But their mission doesn’t end here. They envision a sustainable future for general practice in Tuakau, and they’re now looking for like-minded individuals to help them continue our work. Currently the practice has approximately 7,100 registered patients. The patient mix is predominantly Pakeha (European), along with Māori, Pacific Island and high needs patients. Each GP sees, on average, 25 to 30 patients each day, with each patient attending 15 minute-appointments. In addition to this, there are also Nurse-led clinics run within the practice.
