Role They are looking for GPs to work weekdays in our semi-rural general practice, situated close to a base hospital in Timaru, within the wonderful South Canterbury region. We are in located in an area of New Zealand which has easy access to the sea, rivers, mountains, ski fields and lakes. Both the cities of Christchurch and Dunedin are within reasonable driving distance and there is access to excellent primary, secondary and tertiary schools, and universities. You will be working as part of a broad, innovative, stable intradisciplinary team that includes, GP’s, NP’s, RN Prescribers, senior RN’s, clinical assistant, Kaiawhina, Health Coach, Health Improvement Practitioner, and a supportive and experienced administration team. Practice This RN/GP owner operated practice is Cornerstone accredited, active in teaching both undergraduate and post graduate medical and nursing students, and fully supports ongoing professional development and specialty practice interests. They have a strong commitment to family/life/work balance and are well supported by a loyal and established community. They will be opening a second practice location within a new purpose-built community health hub early 2024 in Geraldine. This will be an exciting development where we will be operating within a community facility that includes other local and visiting health and social services.
