Role We are seeking a short-term General Practitioner for a friendly, community focused practice located just outside of Blenheim, Marlborough. This locum role has 8 sessions (4 days) per week with no on-call.
Practice This is a wonderful opportunity to join a small and friendly team of two other part time GPs, four nurses, two receptionist and a practice manager. Team work and inclusiveness are promoted within the clinic; everyone has a voice and opportunity to give their input and staff are highly valued. This practice is seeking a doctor who is passionate about their work and genuinely cares about their patients and the wider community. Ideally you will be a team player who is keen to teach students and participate in peer review. The practice holds a PRIME contract for the Wairau Valley, so a GP with these skills (or willing to learn) is preferred.
Location Located at the top end of the South Island, Blenheim (with a population of 26,000) is the main town in the province of Marlborough, New Zealand’s premiere wine growing district.
