Role This practice has two short-term role available for a GP (family physician) to join their team in the coastal town of Ōpōtiki. The first available date is the 5th of November 2023 to January 2024, the following date is from the March to April 2024. Sessions and hours are negotiable with the practice to reflect your availability, also there is no on-call work involved.
Location Opotiki is a town located on the east coast of New Zealand’s North Island, in the Bay of Plenty region. It has a population of just under 10,000 people and is situated at the mouth of the Otara River. Opotiki is known for its stunning natural beauty, with pristine beaches, native bush, and rugged mountains in the surrounding area. The town itself has a charming, laid-back atmosphere and a range of amenities, including cafes, restaurants, and shops. One of the main attractions in Opotiki is the Motu Trails, a network of cycle and walking tracks that wind through the region’s stunning landscapes, including the Motu River, Pakihi Track, and Dunes Trail.
