Hanmer Springs


This is a very flexible permanent part time role that will be tailored to suit the right candidate, together with a generous remuneration package.

Ideally you will need to work six sessions (three days) per week as a General Practitioner, but again open to negotiation.

There will be a need for some on call/out of hours work, so will need to be or prepared to be PRIME trained in Rural Emergency care.

Potential opportunity to work at other local Practices.


Hanmer Springs Health Centre is a not-for-profit organisation owned by the Hanmer Springs Community Trust.

You will be joining a friendly, caring, and committed team of rural health professionals and will see a variety of patients from residents to out of towners. As well as a general practice, we provide 24/7×365 urgent and emergency services for the Northern Hurunui District.

We are a forward thinking Health Centre with a focus on leading the way for future rural health care in our wider community.
